Emergency Contact Data Policies
Purchases and Refunds
All purchases of Emergency Contact Data memberships and support items are final. We do not provide refunds as the value of what members receive through Emergency Contact Data membership far out-weighs the cost of the service. We think that the presentation of our service leaves no doubt as to the extent and quality of service a purchaser is to receive and thus the buyer has sufficient knowledge to make the decision to buy before purchase. Our objective is to share the benefit offered by this site’s service with as many people as possible by pricing the service so that it is affordable for individuals and families at all income levels. Therefore, offering a refund would serve to defeat the goal of providing this value to everyone.
Membership Term
Sign-up is for one-year only. Your membership then automatically renews for one year, each year thereafter. To become an Emergency Contact Data Member you must accept recurring credit card billing.
Membership Pricing
Emergency Contact Data may change their fees, fee schedules, incremental fees, and support and fulfillment fees at any time. Members will be notified in advance of any fee adjustment that would affect the price of their membership renewal prior to the automatically recurring credit card charge.
Membership ID Set Delivery
Your bright red Member Welcome envelope containing your Member ID Set is scheduled to arrive within 30 days of purchase as mailing does not occurr until after the 14 day waiting period for member-photo-upload. Emergency Contact Data makes no firm guarantee as to the number of days for delivery to occur. Each member has the ability to print a temporary ID card immediately upon becoming a member.
Mailing Address – It is your responsibility to ensure that your mailing address is correct, as it is the address to which your Membership ID Set is sent. If you do not receive the Member ID Set, a new set will be mailed to you at your expense. If your membership welcome envelope is returned to us due to an incorrect mailing address, we will attempt to contact you by email to inform you of the incorrect mailing address. You will then need to correct your mailing address and order a Member ID Set from within your Profile Center.
Member eMail Address
It is all members’ responsibility to keep their email address up-to-date so they can receive important account notification, such as that of a pending membership renewal.
As part of your Emergency Contact Data membership you agree (opt-in) to the receipt of emails from Emergency Contact Data regarding important information about existing and new features or services being offered, or products relative to your condition.
Privacy
Emergency Contact Data will not provide a member’s complete profile to any individual or entity. As a reminder, it is each member’s role to safeguard his/her own information. See complete Privacy Policy.
Addition of Photo to Member ID Card
To give you enough time to locate and upload the portrait style photo of yourself that you would like to appear on your Membership ID, we wait 14 days before producing your Membership ID Card. If the photograph has not been uploaded within 14 days, your Membership ID will be produced without your photo. You may add your photo at a later date by purchasing an additional Member ID Set. This purchase at a later date requires the production of a new Member ID Set and its shipment to you. Uploading your photo upon your first login to your Profile Center will avoid another charge to you and ensure that you immediately have the most accurate Membership ID Card.
