   All of us should become members, as this is the best way to ensure we take care of ourselves and the ones we love. By providing this critical information you will be ensured of the best care and assistance possible should you or your loved ones need care and assistance and not be able to help yourselves.

   Your Emergency Contact Data Member ID Kit is sent to you in a distinctive red envelope.

6. Should I give my member number to my contacts?

   It is your option for somebody else to have your member number. We will not give it out to anyone. In your membership profile you will list persons to contact in case of an emergency. If those persons have your member number they can be sure the medical professionals treating you can immediately have access to your medical information which can save your life.

7. What do I do if my phone is lost or stolen?

   Change your password within your Profile Center to prevent access to your Medical Profile on the Emergency Contact Data app.

8. How do I change my password?

   You can change your password at anytime within your Profile Center by selecting the Update Password / Email menu item under Manage Profiles. Once you have changed your password, you will need to login using the new password the first time you access the app on your phone or tablet.

9. What do I do if my Member Photo ID or Keychain Tag is lost or stolen?

   Change your Member ID from within your Profile Center to prevent access and viewing of your medical records within the 1st Responders portal on the Emergency Contact Data website.

10. How do I change my Member ID?

    To change your Member ID login to your Profile Center and select Change Member ID under Manage Account in the navigation on the left.

11. How does Emergency Contact Data protect against Identity Theft?

    Emergency Contact Data does not ask its members for, nor does it store the most sought-after personal identifiers such as:

    1. Date-of-Birth
    2. Driver's License Number
    3. Social Security Number
    4. Credit Card Numbers

    The primary reason cyber-criminals access an online medical account is to steal a person's identity. Emergency Contact Data has eliminated the content that leads to identity theft.

    Emergency Contact Data also provides the option for members to exclude their physical address from the profile information that First Responders see. This feature is for those that do not wish to divulge this information about themselves and / or their children.

12. How does somebody enroll if they do not have a computer?

    One can use a computer at work, at the library or a friend’s computer.

13. Does Emergency Contact Data have any international support for non-U.S. members?

    Yes, currently our sign-up forms and all of our Member Profile forms are formatted according the country that you select upon becoming a Emergency Contact Data member.
